Intensely fruit-driven, vibrant wine in true Marlborough style

VINEYARD
Fruit for this wine is located in the Southern Valleys and Rapaura sub-regions of Wairau Valley, Marlborough.  The grapes from the Rapaura vineyard gives lively tropical fruit flavours while the Southern Valleys adds more weight and texture to the palate.  Combining the two sub-regions has created a well rounded balanced Sauvignon blanc.

HARVEST & WINEMAKING
Harvested during the cool of night to maintain freshness and flavours.  The grapes are de-stemmed and pressed, then slowly fermented in stainless steel at  a cool temperature using carefully selected yeast.  Extended yeast lees contact adds weight and texture to the palate.
